Overview :

We're looking for an experienced Data visualization Engineer to focus on designing, developing, and maintaining key reporting tools .

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement & maintain efficient data visualization methods. You will raise the bar on technical excellence, show thought leadership, and communicate well with different audiences while leading the reporting strategy and solution engineering

Responsibilities :

• Developing dashboards, reports and performing ad-hoc analysis & data modeling using Qlik Sense
• Reporting tools consolidation and help to drive long-term reporting strategy
• Install, configure and upgrade Qlik Sense application. Analyze Windows Event logs and Qlik Sense Server log files to troubleshoot and solve issues.
• Good hands-on experience maintaining Qlik Sense servers, connections, apps, streams, users, and security rules.
• Integrate extensions, NPrinting, GeoAnalytics, NodeGraph, and 3rd party sources such as VizLib and others from Qlik Garden with Qlik Sense
• Perform periodic maintenance and upgrades of Qlik Software components.
• Security implementation, Backup, data recovery and service restoration management, patch, and bug fix deployment.
• Expert in applying custom Security Rules and Custom Properties
• Debug failures in QS, QV and nPrinting Apps, tasks, and other processes by reading logs.
• Creating tickets and following up with Qlik Support for resolution of queries.
• Set up and manage user accounts, roles, and permissions within the Qlik environment.
• Monitor system logs and events for errors, warnings, and exceptions.
• Create and manage multiple environments within the Qlik environment for DEV / QA / UAT / PROD environments.
• Configure environment-specific settings, including data connections, reload schedules, and security configurations.
• Identify and resolve performance issues, such as slow data reloads, high memory consumption, or long response times.
• Set up regular data refresh jobs for all Qlik Sense applications, monitor and ensure zero failures.
• In depth knowledge of QMC Configuration, Scheduler Tasks and End to End troubleshooting.
• Maintaining Server Logs, Qlikview Server Backup.
• Server Performance, capacity, utilization monitoring and Health monitoring.
• Perform Qlik Sense server administration tasks (maintaining the servers, connections, applications, streams, etc.)
• On boarding external users by integrating user an authentication method AD, ADFS, EAMS-A, SSO, OAuth, SAML, Okta etc. with Qlik Sense.
• Define & Implement Best Practice recommendations for Applications performance & Platform performance.
• Integrate various source systems such as Data Lakes, web file, SharePoint, API, etc. with Qlik Sense.

Qualifications :

• 5+ Years of experience in developing dashboards in Qlik Sense / QlikView / Qlik Saas Environments.
• Must be good at Data transformation, the creation of QVD files and set analysis.
• Experienced in application designing, architecting, development and deployment using Qlik Sense.
• Must be efficient in front-end development and know visualization best practices.
• Strong SQL skills with experience in writing complex SQL scripts
• Experience in Install and Upgrades of Qlik Sense.
• Experience with Qlik Sense QMC and Hub.
• Knowledgeable about Qlik Platform administration and architecture on an enterprise scale
• Manage day to day operations of Qlik Platforms.
• Experience in creating Visualizations based on requirements and ideating / researching innovative solutions.
• Flexibility of work schedule based on our Global Customers.
• Identify the opportunity for automation and design / build the end-to-end solutions.
• Strong skills in writing SQL queries using databases like Redshift, Microsoft SQL Server, or other industry leading RDBMS.
• Excellent analytical and technical skills.
• Willingness to learn new technologies based on organizational needs.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience in working with virtual & global teams across different time zones.
• Independently work with stakeholders
• Experience with other visualization tools like Power BI, Business Objects, Microstrategy etc. is a plus.
• Exposure to ETL tools for data acquisition and transformation
• Exposure to various AWS services like Kinesis, Lambda, Athena, S3, Glue, ElastiCache, DMS, Redshift etc.
