Business Systems Analyst (JD Edwards Focused)

Location : Denver Tech Center (near Centennial airport)

Salary : $120,000-$135,000 depending on education, skills, and experience

Reports to : Global IS Manager

Direct Reports : None

What you will do :

Provide day to day application support for business systems around core ERP - Oracle JDE E1 9.2 modules namely Order to Cash, Procure to Pay, Finance, Logistics and manufacturing.

Basic SQL query writing, knowledge of E1 tables and working on IBM iseries is needed. Experience with DSI shopfloor application, Hubble reporting and BIP (BI Publisher) is desirable.

Also be able to support E1 security, E1 UDO (user defined objects) and E1 configurations.

Provide technology support and for business systems around core ERP system Oracle E1 to include integration technologies administration, development and support.

This includes user and systems administration, security and basic CNC working with support partners.

• Provide first line functional support to all the business users by responding to the tickets in the help-desk system
• Support of Oracle E1 applications, One View Reporting and forms overlay experience of E1 V9.0 or above required.
• Basic development and support of Hubble reporting and E1 integration technologies either web services, AIS or any other middleware technologies.
• Implementation and / or integration of new products / features and technologies including end user training. Participate in a functional capacity in all phases of the Project Life Cycle, including post-production support and ongoing maintenance as required.
• Perform basic Security and Systems administration managing user roles and rights.
• Participate in internal audits and work with outside auditors to maintain regulatory compliance
• Work in concert with other IT organizational groups to insure a solid support structure for the end user community
• Database query and Development (MS SQL and IBM db2).
• Identify processes for improvement, help design new processes, assist and train users with transition to a new process;

prioritize workload to ensure project deadlines are met.

• Support day to day applications for Group wide systems. Effectively communicate with the user community.
• Security and systems administration managing user roles and rights.
• Work with the business to support and guide the implementation of best of breed 3rd party software products.
• Take an active role in the E1 Change management process and facilitate as an SUG member focusing on technical design and requirements.
• Provide first line functional support to all the following business functions : Finance, Sales, Marketing, Customer Service, Field Service, Engineering, Production, Operations.
• Develop use of E1 technology layer functions and features to the user community to improve the user experience and optimise the use of E1 where possible.
• Take an active role in all Upgrades and technology advancement initiatives providing support and guidance - maintaining systems governance and risk mitigation through agreed project management processes.
• Provide technical support in critical corporate initiatives including system migrations and consolidations and product installations.
• All other duties as assigned.

What it will take to be successful :

• Deep knowledge and experience (at least 8-10 years) in JD Edwards E1 9.0 or higher.
• Demonstratable IT / IS related experience in E1 9.0 / 9.1 / 9.2 systems support / administration both functional and technical.
• Experience with E1 application development and integration.
• Experience with ERP / E1 Functional Finance, Inventory, Procurement, Manufacturing, Sales and Distribution.
• Experience with Integration and middleware technologies.
