Provide leadership for the enrollment management functions of the campus; Administer and supervise the Office of Admissions staff, including student recruitment, admissions counseling, middle / high school relations, community relations, off-campus admissions procedures, and admission of resident and non-resident students;
Provide leadership that aligns with the College’s core values and implements strategies to meet the needs of a diverse community and student body on campus

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES :
Admissions
- Develop annual and long-range enrollment targets for the campus and its programs and implement innovative recruitment strategies in collaboration with the campus administration, other functional areas within Student Affairs, faculty, and the Office of Campus Relations
- Review, analyze, and evaluate recruitment efforts and devise enhancements consistent with enrollment goals based on annual and long-range targets
- Supervise (and participate in) recruiting services, personal contacts, college fairs, middle / high school visits, information events, community activities, and written communication which includes organized / systematic mailing of informational literature
- Develop and manage departmental budget within established College policies and procedures; Assist in Strategic Planning for Student Affairs and evaluation efforts of the established plan;
Work with students, faculty, staff, alumni, and the community in accomplishing external goals of the Office of Admissions and the Student Affairs Department
- Assign job duties, train, direct, and evaluate employees in the execution of job responsibilities to achieve the goals and objectives of the Office of Admissions
- Partner with the K-14 department to assist with converting HS Seniors.
Manage and direct the student admissions process
- Coordinate admissions functions with other College services such as orientation, assessment, registration, financial aid, business office, counseling, and other related functions at the campus
- Oversee the development and implementation of communication and information tools for prospective students in collaboration with the Office of Campus Relations
- Develop collaborative relationships and outreach with area middle and high schools, colleges / universities, and community agencies and organizations to expand the College's admissions services to prospective students
- Conduct all activities within the established guidelines of the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA)
- Develop, implement, and participate in orientation programs (new and transfer) at the campus in collaboration with Student Development
- Serve on campus and statewide committees
- Manage Ivy Tech Systems Signal Vine, Banner, Ivy Connect, COVIDEO and other related functions to manage student outreach.
- Bachelor’s degree required
- Broad knowledge of enrollment management processes and the ability to develop and maintain close working relationships with both internal and external constituents
- Three to five years of progressive leadership experience in a comprehensive student affairs unit is required
- Seven to ten years of progressively responsible student affairs experience in a regionally accredited higher education institution is preferred
- Must demonstrate the ability to take initiative and make decisions; Interpersonal skills, attention to detail and the ability to handle major projects simultaneously are required
- Ability to demonstrate computer literacy and orientation toward creative uses of technology in the delivery of services for prospective students;
Must possess a willingness and an ability to travel
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS :
- Masters in higher education administration preferred
- Experience with data management or use of management information system software, such as Excel, including ability to interpret student data reports is preferred.
OTHER REQUIREMENTS :
- Interpersonal skills, attention to detail and the ability to handle major projects simultaneously are required.
- Outstanding oral and written communication skills are required. Strong computer skills are essential
