As a Roving Plumber at Global Integrity Realty Corp, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the plumbing systems of the properties we manage.
This dynamic position requires a skilled and adaptable plumber to address a variety of plumbing issues across our diverse portfolio of properties.
You will be responsible for ensuring that the plumbing systems are in optimal working condition, resolving maintenance requests, and assisting in the planning and execution of plumbing-related projects.
Key Responsibilities :
Plumbing Repairs :
- Diagnose, repair, and maintain plumbing systems in residential and commercial properties.
- Troubleshoot issues, such as leaks, clogs, and malfunctioning fixtures, to ensure timely and effective solutions.
Preventative Maintenance :
- Conduct routine inspections and maintenance on plumbing systems to identify potential problems before they become major issues.
- Implement preventive measures to extend the lifespan of plumbing components.
Emergency Response :
- Respond promptly to emergency plumbing requests, including leaks and pipe bursts, to minimize property damage and inconvenience to tenants.
- Be on call for after-hours emergency plumbing issues on a rotating schedule.
Installation and Upgrades :
- Install, repair, and replace plumbing fixtures, pipes, and appliances as needed.
- Assist in planning and executing plumbing system upgrades or renovations.
Documentation :
- Maintain accurate records of work performed, including parts used, time spent, and any recommendations for future repairs or upgrades.
- Communicate updates and completed work to property managers and maintenance teams.
Compliance :
- Ensure that all work adheres to local plumbing codes and regulations.
- Stay updated on industry standards and best practices for plumbing maintenance and repair.
Inventory Management :
- Maintain an organized inventory of plumbing tools, equipment, and supplies.
- Replenish and restock supplies as necessary.
Safety :
- Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe work environment for yourself and others.
- Promote safe plumbing practices among the maintenance team and contractors.
Requirements :
- A valid driver's license, insurance, and reliable transportation. Must be willing and able to travel throughout portfolio as needed.
- Proven experience as a plumber in multi-family residential and commercial settings.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Availability for on-call and emergency response duties.
- Knowledge of local plumbing codes and regulations.
- Plumbing licensee not required but a strong plus.
- Physical fitness and the ability to lift heavy objects, work in confined spaces, and use plumbing tools and equipment.
