Job Summary : An Entry Banquet Cook at Black Desert Resort is responsible for assisting in the preparation and cooking of high-quality dishes for banquet events and functions.
This position reports to the Banquet Chef or Sous Chef and helps ensure that all food preparation meets the resort’s standards of quality, presentation, and taste.
The Entry Banquet Cook supports the banquet team and contributes to the success of events and functions. Job Specification : Location : Onsite at Black Desert Resort Shift & Schedule : Year-Round / Full Time / Weekends / Holidays Pay Range : $17.
00-18.50 / hour. This is the pay range we reasonably expect to pay for this position. Individual compensation decisions are based on a variety of factors.

Ensure all food is prepared and presented to the highest standards of quality, taste, and presentation. Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to health and safety regulations.
Monitor inventory and supplies, ensuring proper stock levels and minimizing waste. Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, performing maintenance or reporting issues as needed.
Follow all food safety and sanitation procedures, conducting regular cleaning and inspections. Work collaboratively with the banquet team to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
Assist with the setup and breakdown of banquet stations and service areas. Participate in kitchen meetings and training sessions to stay updated on new techniques and standards.
Provide support to senior banquet staff as needed, fostering a positive and productive work environment. Qualifications Preferred Qualifications and Skills : Previous experience in a kitchen or culinary setting is preferred but not required.
Basic knowledge of cooking techniques, ingredients, and kitchen equipment. Ability to work efficiently under pressure, managing multiple tasks and priorities.
Good communication and teamwork skills. Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of quality and cleanliness.
Passion for culinary arts and a desire to learn and improve. Ability to handle the physical demands of the job, including standing for extended periods and lifting heavy items.
Willingness to follow instructions and take on new challenges. Compensation Range The compensation for this position is $17.
