Financial Analyst Accounting-Full-Time-Varies(Reno)

GENERAL SUMMARY OF DUTIES : Provide analysis of the company’s financial statements for executive management along with preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual reports as needed for management, board of directors, bankers and bondholders.

Responsible for annual budget preparation and monthly forecasting along with all treasury management duties for the company.

EXAMPLE OF DUTIES / ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS : (Includes, but is not limited to the

Produce annual financial plan for the company and departmental units working with various directors and managers in assisting them in their departmental business plan

Prepare and analyze 10Q, 10K, and monthly financial analysis reports

Responsible for daily cash flow; maintenance of the company's credit line and all daily treasury managements needs

Produce monthly and daily flash report reflecting revenue and expense variances to business plan and prior year

Forecast monthly business plan and five year strategic plan and prepare the company’s yearly and five year cash flow projections;

analyze variances to prior year and plan

Review financial statements for excessive expenses and variations to plan and coordinate monthly financial review meetings

Conduct ad hoc analysis and presentations as requested, such as analysis of potential acquisitions, board of directors’ package, bankers’ presentation, credit facility refinancing and bond refinancing and purchases

Assist in matters that may arise concerning Shreveport, Tamarack and MindPlay including analysis of financial statements, preparation of PIK note and review of quarterly and annual report

Produce various company reports such as market share analysis, bad debt reserve and monthly marker analysis

Strong PC skills required; in particular knowledge of Excel, Word and working knowledge of Access, AS 400. Strong written skills and ability to communicate well with co-workers and others.

Strong analytical skills with financial background, preferably in a casino
