As our team continues to grow, we are in search of a talented Education-Based Communication Specialist. This role is crucial in providing exceptional care to our patients.
Responsibilities of the Education-Based Communication Specialist :
As an expert in communication, you will play a vital role in preventing, assessing, diagnosing, and providing counseling and rehabilitation for individuals with various speech, language, voice, fluency, and swallowing disorders.
Job Description :
Take part in life-changing treatment, support, and care for children and adults who face challenges with communication, eating, drinking, and swallowing.
This role will involve assisting individuals who experience difficulties speaking and communicating due to physical or psychological reasons.
In addition to patient care, you may also be responsible for educating the staff on the value and importance of speech therapy.
License or Certification :
Must possess a current SLPA certificate prior to the first day of employment.
CPR certification, TB skin test, Auto Insurance, and Driver's License are also required.
Education, Training, and Experience :
Minimum requirement : Associate degree and / or completion of a Speech-Language Pathology assistant certificate program.
Prior experience is preferred but not mandatory.
