About The Position
Job Title : Mammography Technologist Job Specialty : Radiology / Cardiology - Mammography Tech Job Duration : 14 weeks Shift : Day 5x8-Hour (08 : 00 - 16 : 30) Guaranteed Hours : Not specified Experience : Minimum 1 year License : GA or Compact license required Certifications : ARDMS BR Must-Have : Availability to submit core items and complete / schedule labs within 48 hours of signing the contract Job Description : Work with a patient population ranging from adults to geriatrics.
- Perform outpatient mammography breast ultrasound procedures.- Conduct ultrasound-guided biopsies and fine needle aspirations.
- Execute breast cyst aspirations.- Utilize Epic, GE, and PACS systems in the workflow.- Adhere to scrub color requirements of pewter gray.
- No weekend, floating, or call requirements.- Required to work holidays if they fall during the assignment : If one major holiday is in the assignment period, work it;
if two, work both; if three, work two of them.- Ensure full compliance to start on time; non-compliance may result in a start date pushback by 2 weeks due to bi-weekly orientation schedule.
Orientation includes 13 non-billable hours.- First timers are accepted.
