Description

Key Accountabilities

  • Serve as an escalation point for sales support teams in regard to customer data needs and usage exceptions.
  • Assist with data profiling, IDR shaping, and issue analysis on large business deal flow.
  • QA large deal usage to ensure forecasting and pricing is accurate.
  • Work with the support teams on areas of improvement and bring recommendations to the Sales Strategy team for solutioning.
  • Utilize tools to assist teams in creating proxy data when necessary and to help format different utility data to meet VST needs.
  • Perform analysis and support to the solutions and structure transactions teams related to customer usage patterns and product qualifications.
  • Assist with projects related to utility conversions to understand the implications to the business and the changes required.
  • Ad hoc reporting and data load into and out of sales force to support the sales teams in all markets.
  • Coordinate with business analytics teams on projects related to pipeline management, territory planning, and load variance.
  • Assist in keeping track of market changes and trends to ensure our pricing components and methodologies are relevant and accurate.
  • Promotes a unified sales culture across all markets.

  • Hybrid Schedule - M, T, TH in our Akron or Cincinnati, OH or Houston, TX office; Wed, Friday is remote.
  • Must be willing to relocate or live near Akron, OH, Cincinnati, OH, Houston, TX or Irving, TX

Education, Experience, & Skill Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • College degree a plus
  • Two or more years of relevant work
  • Experience with large data sets and multiple tools related to data is key
  • Demonstrated track record of successful work responsibility
  • High level of proficiency or desire to learn Salesforce, Microsoft 365, and SAS.
  • Experience with power markets, business customers, or brokers a plus
  • Strong attention to detail and a desire to constantly learn

  • Day to day data support for sales analyst and sales teams.
  • Improvement of tools and automation related to gathering customer data
  • Strong relationships with the teams and proven success in accurate output
