Position Summary
Our Ambassador of Aloha is responsible for managing all day-to-day functions of the restaurant. They are always looking to improve to achieve the highest standards in the customer experience, employee experience, and financial goals of the business.
The Ambassador of Aloha should be passionate about Pacific Counter and seeks to motivate a team to extend the same passion to our guests.
Job responsibilities include hiring, managing, supervising and training team members, overseeing the quality of our food offerings, scheduling, inventory control, and ensuring an overall great guest experience.
Job Duties
- Hiring, training, coaching, and counseling team members
- Motivate crew members by example, exemplifying the values, passion, and culture of Pacific Counter
- Preparing an appropriate weekly staff schedule based on projected business volume
- Manage crew breaks, shift changes, shift meetings, and line schedules
- Perform team performance reviews and the resolution of performance issues
- Maintain direct communications with vendors
- Maintain a strong working knowledge of the POS system
- Strive to maintain a 100% guest satisfaction rate
- Ensure high quality customer service is consistently being practiced by all team members
- Resolve guest issues effectively to ensure positive guest experiences
- Ensure great tasting, high quality food is being prepared & served
- Resolve any food quality issues
- Managing food safety which includes ensuring hand washing and glove changes, monitoring time and temperature on the line, monitoring secondary shelf lives, and enforcing all food safety policies and procedures
- Ensure the line, walk-in’s, and all equipment remain clean & organized at all times
- Manage daily and weekly cleaning of the line, dining room, restrooms, and patio
- Ensure all operating activities follow company standards and procedures
- Execution of food safety and restaurant safety standards
- Ensure the safety of guests and team members
- Assist with miscellaneous office administration duties
- Assist with the execution of marketing promotions & off-site events

- Basic computer skills including the ability to browse the Internet, use email, and Google Apps
- Must be able to work an average of 40 hours per week
