Description

Responsible for the sales activities and success of the branch location. Mentors and monitors the sales staff in the branch and sells the loan products offered by the Company.

EXPECTATIONS

  • Directs, coordinates, and monitors all sales employees, branch operation, and personnel development activities to create a business operation that increases sales production, market share, and customer and employee satisfaction.
  • Develops forecasts, financial objectives and business plans.
  • Monitors sales staff performance and assists in developing team members professional goals.
  • Assures team maintains the highest ethical standards and levels of professional performance.
  • Utilizes knowledge, training and experience to solicit and promote the Companys loan products.
  • Maintains strict compliance with regulations throughout all transactions.
  • Completes continuing education and licensing courses.
  • Stays up-to-date on changes in market conditions that affect the Companys loan products.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION - REQUIRED

High School Diploma

EDUCATION - PREFERRED

BA - Bachelor of Arts

EXPERIENCE / SKILLS

  • At least 5 years of experience originating mortgage loans
  • Prior experience working with automated Loan Origination Systems
  • Must at all times be able to meet any and all applicable qualifications and standards required for Loan Officer Licensure under the SAFE Act.

Must remain current on any and all applicable registration, licensing and training obligations required under the SAFE Act and / or any other state, federal or local laws pertaining to Loan Officer Certification or standards

  • Extensive track record of developing retail mortgage business through referral relationships.
  • Knowledge of QC Compliance
  • Proven success in building, leading and guiding a motivated sales team
  • Current knowledge of mortgage banking, all applicable laws, regulations and industry standards, as well as all company rules, procedures and policies
