The Team
The R4 Responsive Tax & Corporate action team plays a critical role in supporting the production brokerage platform for those two business areas.
The R4 area is responsible for supporting mainframe, distributed and Cloud technologies within FBT. The team supports all lines of business across Retail and Institutional businesses.
The Purpose of Your Role
Our team within the R4 area is responsible for supporting the production environment for mission critical products and application.
This role will provide an opportunity to learn distributed, and cloud technologies along with critical business functions within brokerage.
This is a challenging position as every day there will be new issues to research and production areas to support. Applicants should enjoy problem solving and performing analysis to determine root cause of production issues and advise on preventing issues going forward.
The Skills You Bring
Hands on experience in Java , Angular, Web Development and UNIX
- Hands on experience working with AWS EKS and AWS manages solutions such as lambda, dynomodb, api gateway, SQS, ec2, s3, CloudWatch, IAM roles / polices etc
- Hands on experience in Rest based microservices particularly spring boot apps
- Hands on experience in container-based development (Docker)
- Hands on experience in Hibernate ORM / JDBC / Connection Pooling etc
- Hands on experience working with EDA solutions such as Kafka / MQ / AWS SNS etc
- Experience in supporting Micro services Architecture & building / deploying highly automated, scalable and maintainable infrastructure.
- Knowledge on CD process and tools, testing frameworks and practices (preferably GitHub, Jenkins, Stash, Artifactory, Terraform etc.)
- Hands on experience in support mainframe application and technologies
