Position Summary :
Join Soliant in Monroe, WA for a school-based contract opportunity as an Occupational Therapist (OT). This full-time position involves conducting comprehensive assessments to evaluate students' physical, emotional, cognitive, and functional capacities.
The OT will implement therapeutic interventions, educate students and their families, and ensure safety and accessibility within their environments.
Responsibilities :
- Perform thorough assessments to gauge students' physical, emotional, cognitive, and functional capabilities.
- Design and execute therapeutic interventions and activities to enhance students' daily living skills, motor skills, coordination, and sensory integration.
- Offer guidance and assistance to students in adapting their surroundings to foster safety, accessibility, and independence.
- Educate students, families, and caregivers on techniques to promote independence and improve functionality.
Qualifications :
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
- Valid Occupational Therapist license.
- Demonstrated experience providing occupational therapy services in educational settings.
- Proficient understanding of anatomy, physiology, psychology, and human development.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective client rapport and collaboration with fellow professionals.
