REGISTERED NURSE (RN) - ACUTE PHYSICAL REHABILITATION - NIGHTS - FULL TIME OR PART TIME

Responsibilities Full Time or Part Time Night shift RN position at Reba Rehab, our Acute Physical Rehab hospital. We offer flexible scheduling, competitve pay and benefits, and endless career growth opportunities.

The RN has multiple roles and functions including care-giver, decision maker, client advocate, manager, rehabilitor, comforter, communicator, and teacher.

The functions include assessment of the nursing needs of the patient in the acute care Rehabilitation setting, initiation of the plan of care nurse action, implementation of the plan of care and the evaluation process, by use of the nursing process.

The Standards of Practice set forth by the professional nursing associations provide guidelines for the competent, safe and professional practice.

The RN promotes the dignity and quality of the nursing care given to the patient in the acute care Rehabilitation setting.

Texoma Medical Center, a -bed acute care facility has been providing quality health care to the residents of North Texas and Southern Oklahoma since .

BSN preferred. Rehab work experience preferred. Current RN State License or compact. BLS (Basic Life Support) Healthcare Provider course according to RQI program guidelines must be completed during new hire orientation prior to working in a clinical setting.

ACLS preferred. Certification in Rehabilitation Nursing (CRRN) preferred. Must be able to identify and competently address needs of populations served.

Must have strong communication and time management skills. Maintains patient rehabilitation transfer limitations (total hip precautions, weight bearing limitations, etc.

Able to correctly apply orthotics and CPM machines as instructed by therapy.
