About The Position
Job Title : Technician Job Specialty : Sterile Processing Job Duration : 13 weeks Shift : 7 : 00 AM - 7 : 30 PM Guaranteed Hours : Not specified Experience : 2 years of recent Sterile Processing Technician experience required License : Not specified Certifications : - Sterile Processing Technician certification required - Basic Life Support (AHA) certification required - COVID vaccine (declinations not accepted) Must-Have : - Vaccination status information to be provided Job Description : Under direct supervision, care for, handle, and store instruments, supplies, and equipment necessary for surgery.
- Process goods for redistribution throughout the medical center.- Assist Sterile Processing Specialists with various team lead duties, such as maintaining competencies.
- Comply with the on-call schedule as determined by the facility.- Follow the weekend schedule as determined by the facility.
- Two supervisory references required from different time periods (one from within the last 6 months and another from the last 12 months).
- Skills checklist to be submitted. *Note : Ensure all certifications are active at the time of submission.*
