Psychiatric Registered Nurse- Taos County, NM

Job Summary :
The Psychiatric Registered Nurse is a licensed direct care provider of psychiatric evaluation and medication management services.
This member of a multi-disciplinary team including a prescriber, clinical therapist, employment specialist, and substance abuse specialist.
- The Psych RN is responsible for conducting psychiatric health assessments; assessing physical health needs; making appropriate referrals to community physicians;
- providing management and administration of medication in conjunction with the prescriber; providing of a range of treatment, rehabilitation, and support services;
and, sharing administrative responsibility with medical assistants and other ancillary staff.
Requirements / Qualifications :
- Associate's, Bachelor's, or Master's degree in Nursing Practice
- 3+ years of experience as a psychiatric nurse provider
- RN licensure in New Mexico
- CPR and First Aid certified
