This is an office role M-FR 8AM - 5PM EST.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities :

  • Conduct in-depth analysis and investigation of complex insurance claims, identifying critical information to determine claim validity and resolution strategy.
  • Review new claims promptly, ensuring accurate reporting and alignment with organizational protocols.
  • Foster strong working relationships and communicate effectively with internal departments, clients, and external partners to streamline claim management processes.
  • Perform detailed analysis of claims and identify areas of carrier nonconformance, providing actionable insights to enhance compliance and efficiency.
  • Assist in negotiating settlements, working collaboratively with stakeholders to reach favorable outcomes that align with company objectives.
  • Develop and implement targeted claims and compliance action plans to minimize risk exposure and reduce claim frequency.
  • Evaluate claim merit comprehensively, support strategic decision-making for resolution, and adhere to standardized procedures that maintain consistency and quality.
  • Execute case management functions with a focus on mitigating risk while enhancing operational efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Collaborate with the Director of Compliance and various service providers to ensure robust support across compliance and claims processes.
  • Coordinate interdepartmental actions and initiatives aimed at reducing potential risk exposure and enhancing regulatory compliance.
  • Assist in implementing approved risk management strategies and initiatives, actively contributing to organizational resilience.
  • Generate comprehensive monthly claims reports, summarizing key metrics, trends, and areas for improvement.

  • Strong analytical skills with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously, demonstrating strong organizational skills and efficient time management.
  • Proficient data entry skills, ensuring accuracy and consistency in claim documentation.
  • Adept at conducting objective, data-driven analyses and assessments of claims, providing valuable insights and recommendations.
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook), with advanced Excel skills preferred for data analysis and reporting.
  • Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new systems, processes, and procedures, demonstrating flexibility and a commitment to continuous improvement.
