Responsibilities : As a Deli Associate, you’ll be a key player in our kitchen. Your responsibilities will include :

• Sandwich Crafting : Prepare customized sandwiches, wraps, and paninis according to customer preferences. From classic Reubens to veggie-loaded masterpieces, you’ll be the artist behind the counter.
• Ingredient Management : Keep a watchful eye on ingredient freshness and quality. Restock deli meats, cheeses, veggies, and condiments as needed.
• Customer Service : Greet customers with a smile, take their orders, and provide friendly recommendations. Be attentive to special requests and dietary preferences.
• Speed and Accuracy : Our restaurant thrives on efficiency. You’ll need to work swiftly during peak hours while maintaining accuracy in portion sizes and assembly.
• Cleanliness : Maintain a spotless work area. Regularly sanitize surfaces, utensils, and equipment. Follow food safety guidelines diligently.
• Collaboration : Work closely with other kitchen staff, including line cooks, prep cooks, and servers. Teamwork makes the dream work!
• Flexible Schedule : Evening shift with some mornings.

• Basic Knife Skills : You’ll be slicing meats and veggies, so some knife proficiency is necessary.
• Food Safety Awareness : Knowledge of safe food handling practices and sanitation guidelines.
