We are looking for a mission driven Licensed Practical Nurse and a Ped's Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team! The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) works under the general supervision of the medical providers.

The LPN is responsible for the nursing practices, policies, and procedures of OneWorld Community Health Centers within the LPN scope of practice.

Supervision of Health Assistants and Medical Assistants may be required.

These are full-time positions located on our main campus (30th & L) at the Women’s Health Center and Medical Clinic. The schedule will be 40 hours per week;

generally, Monday-Friday, 8am to 5pm with occasional evenings

QUALIFICATIONS :

  • Diploma or degree as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) from an accredited school required.
  • Current licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse in the State of Nebraska required; or license eligibility.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
  • One year or more of nursing experience preferred.
  • Proficiency and experience with Microsoft Office products required; experience with an Electronic Health Record (EHR) preferred.
  • Proficiency in both English and Spanish required.
  • Demonstrated ability to relate with warmth and empathy to OneWorld patients and staff.
  • Demonstrated ability to provide excellent customer service.
