Pre-Owned Sales Manager Opportunity for Large Domestic Dealership

Position Overview
As a Pre-Owned Sales Manager in this large dealership, you will be responsible for aquisition, merchandising, negotiating, closing, training, development of the team all while fostering a great team environment.
We are looking for a true leader who aspires to be a champion for the sales people, hold them accountable to processes and performance expectations, and serves to support the vision of the General Sales Manager and General Manager.
We want a high-performing, high-energy individual that fully understands what it takes to increase used car volume and profitability.
You MUST have a solid foundation and understanding of the Used Car business and previous leadership experience in that role to be considered.
What are the day-to-day responsibilities?
You must be a very motivated individual that can drive a team daily and always have a win mentality.
Positive and results oriented.
- Appraising vehicles, executing street / curb purchases, desking deals, closing deals with a profit minded mentality is a skill set you must be excellent in.
- Excellent knowledge of three key areas of customer traffic : Showroom, E-Commerce, & Phones.
- You are required to engage early and often with customers.
It is expected that you have excellent communication skills as you will make a lot of phone calls daily on behalf of your sales team and the department.
- You will be expected to foster an environment of constant growth and development.
- Partnering with the General Sales Manager / General Manager of the store to plan & manage used vehicle inventory levels, pricing and merchandising strategies.

- Proven success in the automotive business and excellence in CSI
- Proven leadership ability to mentor and train others

- Experience and desire to work with technology
- Valid driver’s license and have and maintain an acceptable, safe driving record
