BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in mechanical engineering. Will also accept equivalent domain specific technical experience in lieu of a degree.
- 7+ years of experience in data center design and product development / HVAC design / related product development.
- Thorough understanding and use of principals, theories and concepts in mechanical engineering.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Masters or PhD in Mechanical Engineering.
- Deep understanding of data center mechanical systems and cooling control schemes.
- Experience evaluating design, performance and logistical tradeoffs for rack and room level products.
- Proficiency with FEA and CFD-based analysis tools.
- Knowledge of industry standards such as ASHRAE, NFPA, ANSI etc.
