Overview :

Ranger Station is a leading manufacturer and retailer of premium candles and fragrances. We are seeking a skilled and experienced Director of Operations to oversee our manufacturing processes, company communications and product development for Ranger Station as well as our private label business.

The ideal candidate will have excellent leadership skills, and a strong background in operations management within the consumer goods industry, with a focus on growth, team leadership, and quality control.

This role will be focused on scaling operations, creating and implementing systems, and streamlining communications for growth.

Responsibilities :

  • Manage and optimize all aspects of the manufacturing process for candles and fragrances, ensuring efficiency, quality, and cost-effectiveness.
  • Lead and supervise the operations team to ensure efficient systems and communication.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve production processes and maximize productivity.
  • Collaborate closely with the product development team to bring new candle and fragrance products from concept to production.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards throughout the manufacturing process.
  • Analyze production data and metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions as needed.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, and finance, to align operations with business goals.

Qualifications :

  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate teams to achieve operational excellence.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Engineering, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
  • Proven experience 5 years in operations management within the consumer goods industry, preferably in manufacturing and production of candles or related products.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and a strategic mindset.
  • In-depth knowledge of manufacturing processes, quality control, and supply chain management.
  • Experience with ERP systems and production planning tools.
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
