The University of Cincinnati, Hoxworth Blood Center (HBC) is recruiting for a Donor Communication Lead (100% FTE) position, in the Donor Recruitment Division.
The intended candidate will participate in donor recruitment and coordinate escalated donor requests. This position will support the University's mission and commitment to excellence in our students, faculty, staff, and all our activities.
This position requires friendly, patient, reliable individual. Experience in customer service is ideal; excellent communication skills, a focus on quality, are essential.

Essential Functions
- Communicate directly with donors, following customer service guidelines.
- Recruit and schedule : platelets, plasma, white cell, Human Leukocyte Antigen (HLA), autologous, directed, therapeutic donations.
- Active team member in training and Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) document control for department.
- Initiates and maintains correspondences with donors.
- Assist with special projects and assignments.
- Modify records to update appropriate Hoxworth systems.
- Manage inbound / outbound contacts, including phone, email, postal, text and evolving communication channels.
- Reschedule donors for future blood donation according to a specific benchmark to be determined by the organization.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Required Education
- Bachelor's Degree.
- Four (4) years of relevant work experience and / or other specialized training can be used in lieu of education requirement.
Physical Requirements / Work Environment
Office environment / no specific unusual physical or environmental demands.
