Key Responsibilities :
- Instruction : Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) tailored to the needs of each student.
- Support : Provide direct instruction and support to students with diverse learning needs, both in and out of the classroom.
- Collaboration : Work closely with other educators, therapists, and families to ensure students needs are met and to create a cohesive learning environment.
- Assessment : Monitor and assess student progress, adapting teaching methods and materials as needed to ensure student success.
What Were Looking For :
- Certification : Valid Special Education certification for the state of Pennsylvania.
- Experience : Proven experience working with students with special needs, preferably in a school setting.
- Skills : Strong understanding of special education principles, excellent munication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with students, families, and colleagues.
