As of 1 / 1 / 2024 - ALL new AND returning agency staff must have completed training from one of following groups for onboarding and clearance.

Unit Details :

Consist of mainly tele / cardiac patients

of Beds in unit : 16

• RN to Patient ratio : 4 : 1
• Patient Population : Adult - Geriatric
• Dress code : any color scrubs
• Remote Tele Unit
• MUST be able to follow & comfortably the Department expectations to interpret, measure & document cardiac rhythms 2x / shift

Requested time off during the course of this assignment MUST be noted and verified at upload. RTO REQUESTS AFTER UPLOAD WILL NOT BE APPROVED!! NO MORE THAN 5 DAYS OF RTO WILL BE ACCEPTED (less is better).

Dress Code : Personal scrubs of any color - No designs or cartoons. No hoodies.

Non-Billable Orientation : 8hrs

Multipliers (OT, Holiday, Call-Back) : 1.25%

Call : 4.00 (Not applicable to this need)

Charge : 3.00 (Not applicable to this need)

• THIS TRAVELER WILL BE WORKING DURING EPIC CONVERSION! MUST HAVE EPIC EXPERIENCE - NON-NEGOTIABLE
• 3 years experience required
• Must be comfortable and hit the ground running working Nights
• Strong proficiency & experience working on Cardiac / Tele, Med-Tele Units - Required
• Previous travel experience : strongly strongly encouraged
• Must have telemetry experience
• MUST be able to comfortably follow the Department expectations to interpret, measure & document cardiac rhythms 2x / shift
• Neuro / stroke experience encouraged
• Please disclose any previous Glens Falls Hospital (or Albany Med) experience on profile
• NO BLOCK SCHEDULING WILL BE CONSIDERED FOR THIS NEED
• PLEASE MAKE SURE YOU REVIEW COMPLIANCE REQUIREMENTS FOR THIS NEED WITH YOUR TRAVELER TO ENSURE THEY WILL MEET ALL MEDICAL / VACCINATION REQUIREMENTS BEFORE UPLOAD TO TRIO.
• Traveler candidate must have their own vehicle. This is a firm requirement.

Clinician MUST be reliable! No attendance concerns, call outs, etc... - very patient oriented Unit

Profile Requirements :

• Work History
• Skills Checklist (pertinent to position), current to 1 year
• 1 Supervisory Signed Reference (from within the past two years of employment)
• License / Certifications - Must be uploaded with profile (Current NY License, ACLS, BLS, PERM ADDRESS - Facility will not pend license / certs)

Permanent address must be included in profile. Address must match Driver License / State ID. Address will be validated during compliance process.

Travelers from the following counties in New York will not be considered for travel assignments at Glens Falls (Perm address must be included in profile) :

CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS :

• ACLS (AHA)
• BLS (AHA)

ADDITIONAL LICENSE REQUIREMENTS : New York license must be in hand at profile upload. Facility will not pend license

Weekend Requirements : Every other weekend / Holidays required if needed

On Call Requirements : Rotating call pool to accommodate dips in census
