JobOverview : The Applications Engineer works under theguidance of senior colleagues to provide engineering support forCNC machines.

This role involves generating CNC programs setting upmachines and ensuring quality part processing. The engineer willalso compile fixtures for demos conduct time estimates andcommunicate with internal and externalstakeholders.

KeyResponsibilities :

• Performapplication engineering tasks undersupervision.
• Participate in trainingactivities both internally andexternally.
• Prepare fixtures andworkholding for demos test cuts and turnkeyprojects.
• Conduct time estimates forcustomer parts processing.
• Calculateoptimal speeds and feeds for partproduction.
• Utilize CAPPSconversational programming CAM systems and GCode / Macro programmingto generate CNC programs.
• Set up CNCmachines with programs tooling workpieces andfixtures.
• Inspect finished parts forquality and accuracy.
• Generateengineering reports and maintain technicaldocumentation.
• Communicate regularlywith internal teams customers andsuppliers.

Qualifications :

• BSDegree in Mechanical / Manufacturing Engineering or a related fieldpreferred.
• 02 years of relatedexperience.
• Knowledge in partprocessing metal cutting CNC programming and machinesetup.
• Basic understanding ofmetallurgy.
• Ability to communicateprofessionally with both internal and externalcustomers.
• Flexibility to adapt tochanging priorities.
• Proficiency inMicrosoft Office (Outlook Excel WordPowerPoint).
• Strong organizationalskills with attention todetail.
• Ability to work a 40hourweek with occasional overtime asneeded.
• Strong analytical andproblemsolvingskills.

WorkEnvironment : The role involves exposure to manufacturingand machining environments which may include hazards such as noiseelectricity chemicals and heavy machinery as well as a generaloffice setting.

PhysicalDemands :

• Frequenttravel vehicle operation and physical activity including standingwalking bending squatting andlifting.
• Periodic use of powerequipment and computer work at adesk.
• Occasional lifting or movingof objects up to 50lbs.
