We also offer an excellent work environment and competitive benefits package to our employees. The Opportunity The Production Team Lead is responsible for a variety of operations functions within the framework of Metallics policies and procedures and in compliance of applicable regulations.

Duties and Responsibilities : Create an inspiring team environment with an open communication culture. Empower team members with skills to improve their confidence, product knowledge, and communication skills.

Coach and Train team members. Develop and implement a timeline to achieve targets. Develop team strengths and improve weaknesses.

Identify team goals and evaluate team progress. Delegate tasks, follows up and assures production orders are processed (or completed) accurately.

Monitor team performance and report on metrics. Motivate team members. Listen to team members’ feedback. Replenish team with materials as needed.

Ensure the team is supplied with material and / or production order as needed) Assist team members with achieving production goals.

Qualifications Lead experience - 1 year (minimum). Excellent communication skills. Confidence and skillful negotiating skills.

Computer literate. Strong organizational skills to give the team direction. Knowledge of basic math; accuracy in counts.

Strong track record of safety performance / communication. Must be responsible, reliable and take ownership of assigned duties.

Ability to take initiative and organize their own work independently. Manufacturing 2 years (preferred). Educational Requirements High School or equivalent NSI Industries maintains a drug-free workplace and requires all employees to complete and pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.
