JOB OBJECTIVE SUMMARY :

The Production Inventory Clerk I is a key associate at Hope Network Industries whose primary responsibilities include : Responsible for inventory and materials used at HNI.

Must possess a can-do’ attitude working in a team environment and be self-motivated to see and act on necessary changes and improvements.

Responsible to work with the Materials team to ensure that Production Inventory Clerk II’s are adequately trained in tasks assigned.

Hours : Monday through Friday 7am-3pm

Pay : $14.00 / hr.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES :

  • Regular and predictable attendance is an essential requirement of this position.
  • Promote, demonstrate and maintain positive communication within different departments at HNI.

  • Must be able to learn new skills and correct techniques with patience and a positive attitude.
  • Follow all Hope Network policies and procedures including the Hope Network Industries Workplace Guide and all Good Manufacturing Practices, GMP’s.
  • Keep work area safe and clear of safety hazards. Be familiar with OSHA standards and report all safety issues and accidents to a Production Coordinator.
  • Complete course training and pass Nulogy University tests in the following Pack Manager role : Trouble shooting, Complete Move In Live , Closing and Opening a job, Take Out the Trash, generating disposal tags, reporting Scrap, and incoming pallets and finished goods.
  • Monitor production to ensure skids are delivered to the wrapping machine as needed to keep production storage areas clear for additional production.

If production area is filling up, contact hilo driver and call attention to him / her to get skids moved.

  • Ensure wrapper is loaded with film as needed to complete job. Reload film when required.
  • If wrapper is malfunctioning, trouble shoot to determine issue. Ensure switches are set properly. Ensure carriage belt is within proper adjustment.

If malfunction continues, contact Maintenance.

  • Wrap Finished Goods Skids / Pallets on the Wrapping machine.
  • Upon completion or wrapping, perform transaction to move pallet from the production area to the shipping area using the scanner.
  • Must be willing to learn to access and use / understand LPN log (for production reported today), Pallet Aging RAW, Pallet Aging FG, Reconciles, Material transaction history, Adjustment transaction history by item, Pallet transaction history by LPN, Inventory Transaction history, Schedule, Visual Control Board, and Recall.
  • Assist in keeping production inventory organized by identifying finished goods with accurate counts and identification of materials.
  • Work closely with the Production team to assist with training including training of a backup for Production Inventory Clerk III (wrapper position).
  • Monitor inventory system and call out concerns or issues from production to ensure reporting is accurate and inventory transactions are real time best as possible.
  • Ability to work cooperatively as a part of a team for the accomplishment of the department and agency mission and goals.
  • Other duties, as assigned.

  • Must be computer literate with ability to learn Nulogy Pack Manager software and Microsoft Excel.
  • Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record according to Hope Network’s insurance carrier definitions.
