This position will provide technical direction for project execution of several major, high visibility, project installations in the Control Drive Mechanism Test Facility, the Large Component Test Facility, and the Hot Quiet Test Facility.
This will include working with management to develop timetables, understand and mitigate project risks, and communication progress the duration of the project.
A successful candidate will ensure the project results meet acceptable requirements regarding technical quality, reliability, schedule, and cost estimates.
They will also monitor progress and performance against project plan with the project team; taking action to resolve technical problems and support operational needs to minimize delays.
- Required Combination of Knowledge and Skill Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in construction, engineering or a science related field and a minimum of 6 years of relevant experience;
- orCurrently or previously Shift Supervisor Part I qualified; orEDO and 2 years as EOOW in the Nuclear Operations Program;
- or3 years as SRE and Watch Instructor and Refueling Facility Area Refueling Engineer and Fuel and Barrier Shift SUpervisor (ECF only);
orSRE qualified and 6 years of experience; orMaster's degree from an accredited college or university in construction, engineering or a science related field and a minimum of 4 years of experience.
Preferred Skills Experience with management of multiple simultaneous projects with stakeholders internal and external to the organization.
