Position Summary : Responsible for driving beginning-to-end delivery and project management of initiatives for technology used at properties we own or manage.

Focused on understanding stakeholders’ input, data flow, end-to-end processes, and technology; this role will assist business units with projects by leading or supporting a variety of initiatives through planning, execution, and measuring impact.

Assists the business to evaluate and select technologies, platforms, and service providers, considering factors such as compatibility, scalability, security, and cost-effectiveness.

This position serves as a liaison between various areas of the business.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Experience with Residential or Commercial Property Management technologies desired. Knowledge of network infrastructure, tech-enabled hardware, and industry software preferred.
  • Possesses an understanding of technological trends and uses this knowledge to bring solutions to the business to enhance the enterprise’s competitive edge.
  • Help lead planning sessions related to projects or new technologies intended to implement process improvement within the functional area.
  • Document and analyze current and future state processes and system interfaces to identify process improvement opportunities aimed at increasing process quality and efficiency.
  • Assists in the business process redesign and documentation as needed for new technology.
  • Create and execute quality project plans to support transformation across the business.
  • Provide visibility to project managers and sponsors on progress against approaching milestones, issues, risks, and dependencies.
  • Communicate changes, enhancements, and modifications of business requirements verbally or through written documentation to project managers, sponsors, and other stakeholders so that issues and solutions are understood.
  • Establish relationships with business partners and IT department to provide process solutions to meet user needs.
  • Must be able to meet predictable attendance and punctuality expectations and physical demands of the position complying with RangeWater’s policies and performance expectations.

Organizational Responsibilities :

  • Follows established policies and procedures by monitoring and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, organizational standards, and operational processes related to area(s) of responsibility and reporting violations or infractions to appropriate individual(s).
  • Practices proper safety techniques in accordance with Company, property, and departmental policies, procedures, and standards by immediately reporting any mechanical or electrical equipment malfunctions, employee / visitor / resident injuries or accidents, or other safety issues to appropriate individual(s).
  • Identifies areas for improvement and offers suggestions to improve the property's efficiency, profitability, and productivity.
  • Keeps abreast of current changes in technology, leasing and sales tools, processes, and standards within the industry and area(s) of responsibility by attending internal and external training programs and by accessing other sources of information and applies knowledge and practices to area(s) of responsibility.

Work Hours (may vary by state or location) : Company hours of operation are 8 : 00am-5 : 00pm Monday through Friday. Exempt employees are expected to adhere to the standard workweek schedule and work any hours necessary to perform the duties of the job.

Must be able to perform the essential job functions unaccompanied.

Education / Experience : Employment history that demonstrates 3-5 years of experience working as a business analyst or business systems analyst and 1-3 years of experience planning and / or managing projects.

Demonstrated ability to own projects and deliver changes. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent industry experience in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration or related field.

Language Ability : Demonstrated ability to read, write, and communicate effectively to interpret, evaluate, and communicate detailed written or verbal instructions to others.

Ability to comprehend and complete business plans, financial documents, and legal documents.

Math Ability : Demonstrated mathematical skills necessary to add, subtract, multiply, and divide numbers, decimals, and fractions and calculate percentages in order to complete financial records, training budgets, timesheets and other fiscal reporting information.

Reasoning Ability : Demonstrated ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.

Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations. Strong critical thinking skills and the ability to effectively problem solve.

Computer Skills : Demonstrated proficiency in word processing and spreadsheet management programs in order to complete required reports and employment documents.

Proficiency and fluency in using the internet and business management tools such as PowerPoint and Visio.

Certificates and Licenses : Current valid driver’s license is required.

Supervisory Responsibilities : Proven skills sufficient to hire, lead, direct, evaluate, and manage subordinates and team members, including specialists is required.

This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, copiers, scanners, and other electronic equipment.

Physical Demands : The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.

The employee is frequently required to sit. Incumbents must be able to physically access all exterior and interior parts of the property and amenities.

Must be able to operate golf carts at properties with golf carts, walk extended distances and navigate stairs to multiple levels daily.

Incumbent must be able to push, pull, lift, carry, or maneuver weights of up to twenty (20) pounds independently and fifty (50) pounds with assistance.

Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.

Must be able to view computer screens, cell phones, and other electronic equipment for extended periods of time where visual strain may result.

Local and non-local travel may be required to attend training classes or other situations necessary for the accomplishment of some or all of the daily responsibilities of this position.

Routine, local and non-local travel is required to visit sites, attend business meetings and training classes, or participate in other situations for the accomplishment of some or all of the daily responsibilities of this position.
