Come take your career to new heights! Tower Engineering Professionals is seeking a full-time employee for a Civil Construction Field Technician, in our Nashville, TN location.

Responsibilities : Field Duties (90-95% of work time) :

  • Must be able to travel up to two weeks at a time.
  • Must have a labor-intensive attitude and be capable of climbing ladders, water tanks or rooftops.
  • Perform common construction tasks in and around rural and public jobsites.
  • Must have the physical ability to lift materials up to 100 lbs, use common hand and electrical tools.
  • Provide superior customer service while ensuring all essential job functions are performed in a timely, efficient, accurate, and safe manner.
  • Adhere to all company and industry standard / regulations (OSHA, ENSA, etc.)

Office Duties (5-10% of work time) :

  • Prepare and load materials for future projects.
  • Read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and design requirements related to general construction applications.
  • Conduct due diligence for multiple projects prior to field work.

Qualifications :

  • 2-3 year general construction experience preferred; some material handling equipment experience highly preferred.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills; self-starter, team player, and results oriented.
  • Must be at least 21 years old, have a valid driver’s license, and a clean driving record to operate a company vehicle.
  • Must be able to pass pre-employment screenings to include both background and drug screenings.
