Christiana Care Hospital in Newark, DE is seeking an experience Registered Nurse (RN) for our 3B General Medical Unit.
Unit
3B is a 32-bed inpatient General Medical Unit with Telemetry, which provides scheduled and emergent care / procedures on a 24-hour basis.
The unit is designed to accommodate 32 patients who need inpatient care for the treatment of their diagnosis.
The scope of services on 3B encompasses a variety of diagnoses / testing including but not limited :
- COPD exacerbation
- Pneumonia
- ETOH withdrawal
- Opioid withdrawal
- Nausea / vomiting / abdominal pain
- Altered mental status
- Osteomyelitis
- Back pain
- Diabetes management
- Cellulitis
The patient population cared for in this area includes adult and geriatric patients. The patients are received / transferred / admitted from home, the emergency department, and physician’s offices as well as from other units within the hospital setting.

Education & Experience Requirements :
- Delaware RN License or Compact Nursing License.
- RN must have at least one year experience in acute care or sub-acute care. < /
