Under the direction of a clinic nurse, to provide direct and indirect patient care in a clinical area for specific age and patient populations.
To practice within the scope of the LPN licensure.
Position Requirements :
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE :
Graduate from an accredited Practical Nursing program required. Work experience may NOT substitute for education requirement.
Preferred : One year outpatient or physician office experience.
LICENSE, CERTIFICATION AND / OR REGISTRATION :
Currently licensed or licensed by endorsement as a licensed practical nurse (LPN) by the Alabama Board of Nursing required.
Currently certified with Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) required or must be obtained within 30 days of employment.
