Trainer

US Farathane is hiring a Trainer. US Farathanehas been a leading source of plastics manufacturing, supplying the automotive industry for over 40 years.

Through highly technical research and development, coupled with a diverse and knowledgeable Management Team and dedicated Associates, US Farathane has continued to grow each year.

We provide customers with a wide range of full-service support from black box design concepts to highly engineered composites, TPE’s and TPO’s as well as specialized extrusion and compression technologies.

Trainer will help effectively train personnel to achieve customer satisfaction. Following all procedures and work instructions, achieve optimal productivity, quality, and safety assuring internal and external customer satisfaction.

Duties and Responsibilities :

• Provides training to a diverse work group that is customized to USF’s policies, procedures, and practices.
• Conduct audits to ensure that the correct processes are being followed at each press
• Follow up with employees after training to ensure they are meeting standards.
• Test trainee to measure progress and to evaluate effectiveness of training
• Complete all training forms, reports, and training books
• Must be able to work with employees, supervisors / management and team leaders.
• Maintain the integrity of content being delivered.
• Successfully complete USF Train the Trainer program
• Insure a safe work environment
• Effectively communicate operator requirements to new personnel
• Fill out the training sheet upon successful completion of training by new personnel.
• Update training matrix and identify training needs
• Know how to properly fill out production sheets and board
• Become familiar with all new processes which come into our facility
• Certify that operators are trained.
• Communicate production and quality issues / concerns with associates and supervision.
• Participate in team problem solving activities (ie, 8D’s, communication meetings, etc.).
• Responsible for following all internal and OSHA required safety procedures.
• Adherence to all company policies and procedures (ie, Quality Manual, Associate Handbook, etc.).
• Maintain high standards of housekeeping in respective areas.
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications :

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and / or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Excellent communicator and listening skills
• Good reading and writing skills
• Highly motivated and success driven
• Outstanding interpersonal and customer relations skills
• Ability to handle fast paced environment
• Bilingual In Spanish and English
• Motivated and self-driven
• Pleasant and professional demeanor and able to work with all levels of employees and various diversity groups
• Trainer and automotive experience preferred
