Contemporary Staffing Solutions (CSS) is seeking a Medicare Customer Service Representative to join our client for a remote opportunity (must be located within 1 hour of Philadelphia, PA)! As a Medicare Customer Service Representative, you will address benefit, eligibility, and claims inquiries via telephone, internet, or written correspondence.
This Contract opportunity offers $18 / Hour!
Key Responsibilities :
- Respond to and resolve inquiries based on phone calls, emails, or letters from members, providers, and plan sponsors.
- Direct and triage work to the appropriate departments or staff as necessary.
- Accurately document interactions with members, providers, and others to track reasons for contact and identify trends.
- Stay informed about and comply with corporate policies and procedures, as well as remain current on industry data.
- Thoroughly review claims history to ensure accurate tracking of benefit maximums, coinsurance, and deductibles.
- Utilize relevant system tools and resources to create quality letters and spreadsheets in response to inquiries.
- Consistently provide world-class service to both internal and external customers.
Qualifications :
- Prior experience working in call centers and customer service is required.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Proficiency in using computer systems and software applications related to the role.
- Knowledge of Medicare policies and regulations is preferred.
- Health insurance / healthcare experience is a plus.
