Juniper's AI-Driven Enterprise (AIDE) is seeking a full-time Sr. Cloud Security Engineer to join our talented team in Cupertino! We're looking for someone who has hands-on, can implement solutions, is a great communicator, and already has experience in Cloud Security.

You'll take Cloud Security projects from concept through to launch. You will be working on the designing and implementing controls required to secure the AWS & GCP environments.

Responsibilities :

  • Build out cloud-agnostic security solutions.
  • Roll out new technology for cloud-specific security concerns.
  • Secure AWS, GCP, Kubernetes / Docker, and Terraform-based infrastructure.
  • Secure micro services and the communication between them
  • Design strategies around data ingestion and security event detection & protection
  • Work with developers on establishing and enforcing secure coding practices.
  • Conduct pen tests, vulnerability scans, and web application security scans regularly and drive the remediation of security gaps.

JOB REQUIREMENTS :

  • Experience in deploying and customizing security tools such as vulnerability scanners, static analyzers, SIEM, IDS / IPS, WAF / firewalls, pen tests, and endpoint security monitoring.
  • Must have strong knowledge of encryption protocols, secret management, SSO technology, etc.
  • Experience with Kubernetes and Terraform infrastructure.
  • Experience with Linux server administration
  • Experience with fundamentals of networking
  • Experience developing tools with languages like Python or Go
  • Able to clearly design and communicate complex solutions and collaborate
  • Experience using CI / CD pipelines for change management and automated security testing.

Education & Experience

  • Minimum Required : Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, and overall industry experience of at least 7 years
  • Minimum Required : 5+ years of experience working with a public cloud infrastructure, preferably within AWS / GCP security

Minimum Salary : $159,200.00

Maximum Salary : $228,850.00

The pay range for this position is expected to be between $159,200.00 and $228,850.00 / year; however, the base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.

The total compensation package for this position also includes medical benefits, 401(k) eligibility, vacation, sick time, and parental leave.

Additional details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.

If hired, employee will be in an at-will position and the Company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other payment or compensation program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, Company or individual department / team performance, and market factors.

Juniper’s pay range data is provided in accordance with local state pay transparency regulations. Juniper may post different minimum wage ranges for permanent residency petitions pursuant to US Department of Labor requirements.
