We are seeking a part-time Patient Services Specialist to work in the front office of our busy outpatient Imaging center.

You will work at our centrally located Gateway Medical Office building. We’re a small friendly team who works well together, and we are excited to find the right person to assist our patients with their Imaging needs.

The candidate will work rotate between front and back desk responsibilities. The workload is constant, although quite manageable as we focus on getting patients scheduled for their necessary Imaging exams in a timely manner.

The position is responsible for specialized scheduling of new and existing patient appointments, providing exam-specific patient prep, checking in patients, answering phones, and other front office related duties.

Additionally, the position will be responsible for preparation of patient charts, including medical records, lab reports, and prior imaging studies.

Candidates must possess a strong attention to detail and the ability to multitask in this fast-paced environment .

We value a strong work / life balance which is supported by a schedule with no weekends, no call and you rarely will need to stay late.

You also will be working with a flexible staff. Remote work may be available on occasion once training is complete.

The position is 24 hours, Wednesday- Friday, mainly 8 : 00 am - 4 : 30 pm but the shift may vary based on needs.

Hiring pay based on open position, experience, and credentials :

Level I - $18.33- $24.81 per hour.

Level II - $20.17 - $27.29 per hour.

Level III - $22.18 - $30.01 per hour.

Placement within levels based on specialty group, experience, additional duties.

Medical, Vision, and Rx Insurance is 50% paid for by The Oregon Clinic for full-time employees.

Qualifications :

  • Minimum of 1 year of medical front office experience required; Radiology experience strongly preferred
  • Prior experience with electronic medical records, EPIC experience a plus
  • Excellent customer service skills and desire to be a team player
  • Excellent attendance, positive attitude, and strong work ethic
  • Ability to communicate professionally and effectively with patients, staff, and providers
