Responsibilities
- Lead the development and implementation of PCL’s new SDI prequalification program in the U.S.
- Champion process improvements and standardization to conform with the new prequalification software program.
- Transform SDI processes leading to better risk-based decision making.
- Monitor all subcontractor financial reviews in accordance with established guidelines to ensure theymeet our company’s prequalification requirements.
- Conducts annual and periodic audits throughout the year to ensure compliance with our prequalification policies and procedures, and our ongoing risk assessments.
- Support our districts on SDI claims to ensure proper documentation and to maximize claim recovery.
- Assist districts with performing owner and joint venture financial due diligence assessments evaluating financial statements and the financial qualifications of certain business partners.
- Prepare and present reporting on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis, including status updates, compliance issues, programs results and improvement opportunities.
- Act as administrator for PCL’s prequalification system(s) in the U.S..
- Develop and generate necessary reports out of our business programs to support business intelligence dashboard and other risk management related reporting.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance. CPA designation a strong asset.
- 3-5 years of experience in related career path.
- Strong skills related to financial statement analysis and risk assessment.
- Proactive, self-motivated, organized and able to work independently are a necessity.
- Proven problem-solving, professional judgement and decision-making abilities.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced office environment, multitask and meet critical deadlines with an eye for accuracy and attention to detail.
- Conveys a sense of urgency and projects a positive, proactive desire to support a broad range of initiatives.
- Must be team focused and provide exception client experience to internal and external customers.

- Knowledge of the construction industry and SDI preferred.
- Proficient in all Microsoft Office products.
- Experience with Oracle-Enterprise One software, and the Compass prequalification software an asset.
