BASIC QUALIFICATIONS :
- BSEE or MSEE from an accredited engineering university.
- 4+ years experience in an EE board-level design role.
- Experience using Altium, Cadence Allegro, or a similar tool.
- Up to 20% travel may be required between locations.
- Must possess a valid U.S. driver’s license.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
- Background checks are required.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS :
- Capable of cross-functional teamwork with a willingness to drive results.
- Experience with analog and digital design (low speed).
- Experience with board-level DC / DC switching power supply design / layout, including thermal considerations.
- Experience with both rigid PCB and flex PCB design.
- Experience with bench soldering.
- Experience using bench power supplies, oscilloscopes, signal generators, and multimeters.
- Experience with high-frequency circuit design and mixed-signal design, including MCUs and FPGAs.
- Board-level design using industry-standard EE tools : simulation, schematic capture, and PCB layout.
- Experience selecting and managing 3rd party vendors, suppliers, and overseas CMs.
- Experienced in high-volume consumer product development.
- Experience with Bluetooth, WiFi, and USB-connected devices is a plus.
- Display or camera system design experience.
- Experience with Python and other scripting languages, as well as familiarity with Linux.
RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Work closely with ME, Opto-ME, Thermal, Optical, FW / SW engineers, and the safety team to design EE systems and complete system integration.
- Author system and subsystem requirements / specifications.
- Document design files and test criteria, and plan for system and modules.
- Review and approve vendor design proposals, document test methodology, generate component qualification criteria, and support system validation.
- Perform failure analysis, root cause diagnosis, and system-level problem-solving.
- In charge of component selection, evaluation, and schematic capture.
- Work with layout team to conduct and review layout, follow up on PCB and PCBA manufacturing.

The salary range for this position is based on national rates . Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location.
Base Salary : $100,000 - $170,000.
