Position : Occupational Therapist - Certified Hand Therapist
Location : Woodlands, TX
Schedule : PRN as needed
Compensation : $45.00 - $50.00 / hour
Our Select Physical Therapy outpatient center in Woodlands is seeking a PRN Hand Therapist-Ocuupational Therapist for our outpatient orthopedic center! Although a certified hand therapist (CHT) is preferred, we are willing to consider occupational therapists with a level II fieldwork in hands (required).
We have a network of hand therapists and CHTs available for support and are excited to mentor occupational therapists aspiring to be a CHT.

Responsibilities
Collaboration : Supervise assistants and aides and contribute to case management.
High Standard of Care : Stay current and up to date with occupational therapy research and employ Evidence Based Practice (RCB,clinician expertise, patient perception).
Personalized Treatment : Provide comprehensive and individualized treatment, from evaluating and creating a plan of care to treatment and discharge.
Relationship-Building : Maintain positive level of interaction with centers and patients. Enhance and expand client relations with facilities and their staff.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications :
Graduate of an American Occupational Therapy Association (AOTA) -accredited school of occupational therapy
CPR certified
Valid driver’s license
Preferred Qualifications :
At least two years of experience in the application of custom splinting pre and post-op orthopedic
Minimum two years in adult rehabilitation; hand and splinting experience preferred
