• As a per diem, nonexempt CPS Solutions, LLC Staff Pharmacist at East Los Angeles Doctors Hospital (ELADH), you will fill orders with accuracy;
• check technician-prepared products before release; maintain security of pharmacy and controlled substances; enter orders and patient information with accuracy;

aid in the training of new staff; update the Director about the daily activities of the pharmacy; and aid the Director in maintaining the pharmacy.

This position may also provide coverage at Community Hospital of Huntington Park.

Schedule : Monday-Friday from 7 : 30am-6 : 00pm and Saturday and Sunday from 7 : 30am-4 : 00pm.

Pay Range : $60-$74 / hour based on experience

About the Facility : Licensed for 127 beds, ELADH provides a wide range of services, both on an inpatient and outpatient basis.

Its inpatient services include Obstetrics, Pediatrics Medical / Surgical, Intensive and Coronary Care, and Sub-acute Care.

Outpatient services include 24-hour Emergency Services, Laboratory, Diagnostic Imaging, Cardiopulmonary Medicine, and Rehabilitation Services.

Community Hospital of Huntington Park is an 81-bed acute care hospital, accredited by the Healthcare Facilities Accreditation Program, that offers a full range of diagnostic and therapeutic services.

About the Pharmacy : East LA's centralized pharmacy utilizes MedSelect automation and the Paragon pharmacy system. Pharmacy hours are Monday-Thursday from 7 : 00am-8 : 00pm and Friday-Sunday and holidays from 7 : 30am-4 : 00pm.

Required Qualifications :

• Pharmacy degree (BS or PharmD) from an ACPE accredited school of pharmacy; PharmD preferred
• Current California Pharmacist license in good standing
• Successful completion of a Pharmacy Practice Residency program strongly preferred
• 1+ years of experience as a pharmacist in a hospital setting preferred, new grads are acceptable
• Ability to work independently, set priorities, make critical decisions, and respond to client concerns
• Demonstrated accuracy and timeliness in a work setting
• Experience using computer applications including word processing, spreadsheets, and pharmacy information systems
• Effective communications skills; verbal and written

Hospital Requirements :

PPD) TB Skin Test - Proof of negative TB skin test within the last 12 months

MMR) Measles, Mumps and Rubella or A Blood Titer proving immunity

• Tdap or declination
• HepB or declination
• Varicella - (2) documented doses or A Blood Titer proving immunity

Flu) Influenza-required for hire between Oct 1

• April 30
• Respirator FIT Mask Test
• Physical examination by the hospital
• Proof of completed Covid-19 vaccination or documentation noting the approved exemption
