Maintenance Engineer

As a MaintenanceEngineer you will be essential to ensuring our equipment andmachinery run smoothly. Your responsibilities will includepreventive maintenance troubleshooting and repairs to minimizedowntime and maximize productivity.

This role demands a strongtechnical background excellent problemsolving skills and aproactive approach to maintenancemanagement.

JobResponsibilities :

• Troubleshootand diagnose failures in mechanical hydraulic and pneumatic systemsimplementing corrective actions to minimizedowntime.
• Analyzedowntime reports and recommend improvements projects andactivities.
• Overseemajor repairs rebuilds and retrofits of existing productionequipment.
• Facilitatethe installation of new productionequipment.
• Executeand enhance preventive maintenance (PM) plans for all productionequipment focusing on critical equipment and optimizing PMfrequency.
• Sourceand procure parts using the SAP system while adhering to purchasingrules.
• Performroot cause analysis and drive corrective actions for unplanneddowntimeevents.
• Continuouslyanalyze downtime data machine component failures spare partsinventory support documentation and maintenance repair quality andefficiency.
• Championthe creation and control of documentation to improve repair qualityand reduce repair time for both planned and unplannedactivities.
• Assist indeveloping standard work instructions for troubleshooting andpreventivemaintenance.
• Supportthe development of an effective spare parts inventorysystem.
• Provideexpert technical support to maintenance technicians when issuesarise.

JobQualifications :

• Bachelor'sDegree in Mechanical Engineering Manufacturing Technology or arelatedfield.
• Minimumof 2 years of maintenance experience in a casting and forgingenvironment ispreferred.
• Advancedknowledge ofmachinery.
• Strongunderstanding of mechanical systems including rotating equipmenthydraulics pneumatics and thermalsystems.
• Proficiencyin reading and interpreting technical drawings schematics andmanuals for troubleshooting andrepair.
• Familiaritywith programmable controllers and industrial robotics includingSiemens PLCs and NCs and ABBRobotics.
• Knowledgeof techniques materials tools and equipment used inmaintenance.
• Basicalgebra skills and ability to read and interpretmeasurements.
• Excellentreasoning and problemsolvingskills.
• Proficiencyin operating electrical hand tools and measuring devices with thecapability to train technicians in their properuse.
• Abilityto follow stepbystep instructionsaccurately.
• Adaptabilityto changing technologies and ability to learn the functionality ofnew equipment andsystems.
• Strongorganizational skills and the ability to establishpriorities.
• Excellentcommunicationskills.
