Our payment risk teams are at the forefront of building key components for our risk platform to support our payment business.
We work collaboratively with peer developers, product managers, designers, architects, data scientists, and various business partners to define and develop low-friction, high-precision fraud detection systems that protect our customers and vendors.
We are seeking a strong, passionate engineering leader to join our team. In this role, you will enhance our platform and protect our customers from potential fraud, which is critical to the livelihood of small and medium-sized businesses (SMBs), while also unlocking revenue growth.
We’d love to chat if you have :
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- At least 10 years of experience in software engineering in one or more programming languages (e.g. Java, Python, Elixir)
- 2 years people mgmt exp with at least 5 yrs experience leading operational initiatives
- Expertise in building and maintaining large-scale, high-volume, high-availability, low-latency systems.
- Strong understanding of security, compliance, and regulatory requirements.
- Demonstrated experience in the payment industry or in developing fraud detection applications.
- Ability to mentor and guide other engineers in best practices and advanced technical concepts.
- Familiarity with machine learning model integration and data pipeline design.
- Bonus : Experience in front-end or full-stack development.

The estimated salary range for this role is noted below for our San Jose based role. Our ranges for each role and job level are based on a variety of factors including candidate experience, expertise, and geographic location and may vary from the amounts listed above.
