My client is a top notch Commercial HVAC Mechanical Contractor. Currently seeking commercial certified AC technician who is highly motivated with a strong work ethic, has excellent problem solving skills, strong customer service skills and brings at least 7-15+ years of experience to join a stable, growing AC company in the Northern Virginia area.
Position Qualifications : Senior Technician Lead :
- Minimum of 10 years experience with maintenance, troubleshooting and correcting a wide range of commercial and industrial AC service and installation issues;
- Enjoys mentoring and problem troubleshooting;
- Ability to generate and oversee estimating of new jobs;
- Demonstrated supervisory or management experience; and
- Master certified HVAC General Requirements :
- Excellent troubleshooting, well organized, able to meet schedules and deadlines, and able to work independently;
- Good analytical skills and attention to detail with ability to read and interpret blueprints, plans and manuals;
- Ability to communicate diagnosis, the needed repairs and appropriate options to the customer in a knowledgeable and courteous manner;
- 100% compliance with all standard company procedures and safety rules;
- Excellent customer service skills with a desire and willingness to exceed customer expectations;
- Enjoys interacting with people; and
- US citizen with excellent driving record and a valid drivers license. Technical Requirements :
- Detailed knowledge of commercial AC systems that incorporate digital control systems and are linked to a multi-building, computer based Energy Management and Control System (EMCS).
- Familiarity with 5-100 ton package units, split systems, computer room units.
- Diagnose a wide variety of service issues, (identify any replacement parts), repair, test and calibrate system to manufacturer’s recommendations.
- Travel to job sites in service area and work to ensure schedule is maintained and delays are properly communicated to customer and office
