Middle School Science Teacher
Job Description
Saint Benedict Catholic School seeks a Full-Time Middle School Science Teacher for the 2024-25 academic year. The school is committed to partnering with parents and providing a traditional education in a faith-filled environment.
It is centrally located in Richmond's Museum District.
The Middle School Science Teacher will partner with parents and teachers to foster and promote student learning and moral development through a classical Catholic curriculum.
The Teacher will teach all Middle School Science classes and provide support, as needed, to the Elementary Teachers. This position is Monday through Friday, 7 : 30 to 3 : 30
Applicant Requirements
Applicant must
- hold a bachelor's degree or better from an accredited college or university in science, engineering, or a related area
- have a passion and commitment to classical education
- be able to clearly communicate verbally and in writing
- upon employment, be able to pass criminal background checks
- hold a Virginia Teacher Certification with an endorsement for Middle School and Secondary Science or have the qualifications necessary to obtain one upon hire
