Position Overview
The UX Designer is responsible for understanding the customer's journey, identifying pain points, and designing intuitive digital solutions to address them.
This role works closely with the product manager, development team, and other groups to iteratively design and deliver a differentiating end-to-end user experience.
The UX Designer is engaged throughout the entire product lifecycle, from ideation to delivery, as well as in the continuous improvement of the product.
This position reports to the Director of UX Design and Research.
Responsibilities
- Understand the customer journey and identify pain points to create intuitive solutions that solve complex problems.
- Contribute during discovery, prototyping, design, delivery, and the continuous improvement of the product.
- Design holistic experiences with functional interactions, visuals, and documentation.
- Communicate a compelling reason behind every design decision and collaborate with peers.
- Perform user research and champion customer-centric solutions.
- Plan for iterative design stages that can evolve over time considering technical deployment needs and change frequency for users’ learning and efficiency.
Qualifications
- Proficient in using design and prototyping tools such as Figma and Miro.
- Ability to work in an Agile software development environment.
- Versed in user research and testing methodologies, with the ability to interpret results into actionable analysis.
- Ability to present and explain work.
- Ability to accept constructive criticism and integrate it into work.
- Ability to initiate constructive discourse as a champion for the user experience while collaborating and compromising for the best possible solution.
- Understanding of user testing methodology and analytics.
- Willingness to comprehend and leverage technical processes and frameworks.
Education and Years of Experience
2-5 years related work experience.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Human Factors or related degree.
- Experience working with and contributing to a design system.
- Experience designing with large amounts of data and conditions.
Compensation
We believe in fair compensation for all of our people, which is why our pay structure takes into account the cost of labor across U.
S. geographic markets. For this position, we offer a pay range of $89,400 - $172,700 annually, with pay varying depending on work location and job-related factors such as knowledge, position level, and experience.
