Job Description
What you will be doing
- Review BEO's for menu details, room setup, food, beverage and audio visual needs.
- Assist the set up staff in table set up, buffet set up, bar set up, etc.
- Check quality and presentation of food before serving.
- Prepare and serve beverages for the function.
- Provide prompt and professional service to all guests.
- Communicate with Kitchen keeping update on any changes.
- The starting rate for this position is $ per hour.
Location Description
6301 State Route 298, East Syracuse, New York 13057 Just off I-90 in east Syracuse, we're within 15 minutes of Destiny USA shopping, Syracuse University, and the famous Dinosaur Bar-B-Que.
We'll pick you up from Syracuse Hancock International Airport in our free shuttle it's a six-mile ride from our hotel. Relax by the heated indoor pool and on your room's private balcony.
Requirements
What we are looking for
- Customer service focused, excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, likes to communicate with guests and associates.
- High work ethic and self-initiative
- Ability to work in high pressure situations
- Must be flexible and available to work varying schedules to include days, nights, weekends, and holidays, based on the needs of hotel.
- Someone who enjoys working as and being part of a team that provides great experiences for our Guests!
