Shipping Clerk with Forklift Exp
1st shift, 8 : 00am to 4 : 30pm
Essential Job Functions :
Adhere strictly to all GMPs (Good Manufacturing Practices) and relevant SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures).
Receive inbound materials, including tracking, logging, and verification.
Prepare materials for shipment.
Use Data Entry to create reports, PO's, shipping labels and other Clerical duties.
Proficient in Excel, Word, Outlook, and various Shipping platforms.
Verify the quantity, weight, and conformity of materials to stated identifications and log the receipt of items onto the system.
Proficient in driving both sit-down and stand-up forklifts.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required :
Certified forklift operator can interpret and apply product label information onto receiver sheets.
Strong problem-solving skills.
Proficiency in basic mathematics.
Ability to stand for extended periods.
Commitment to maintaining safety standards.
Working Conditions :
Collaborate with Receiving Supervisor in both indoor and outdoor environments, including air-conditioned areas.
Involves lifting up to 50 lbs., standing, bending, and operating forklifts in non-air-conditioned areas.
Minimum Qualifications :
Minimum of 2 years of experience in a warehouse environment.
Demonstrated ability to apply problem-solving skills in practical situations.
Effective communication skills.
Can work with minimal supervision, either independently or as part of a team.
Willingness to work additional hours on short notice to meet company production goals.
Knowledge of International Shipping a Plus
