We are looking for a dedicated Customer Service Representative to join our team in the non-profit sector, based in Indianapolis, Indiana.
This role involves providing exceptional customer service, primarily over the phone, to a variety of stakeholders requiring assistance with their online registration to our events.
This position offers a short-term contract employment opportunity.
Responsibilities :
- Provide exceptional customer service to stakeholders, assisting with their online event registrations.
- Answer and respond to inbound calls, directing, referring, or transferring calls as necessary.
- Become proficient in our online registration process and related software systems, being prepared to troubleshoot any issues that may arise.
- Proactively follow up on registration issues.
- Work as a team player, but also have the ability to work independently in a changing environment.
- Prioritize and organize tasks effectively, demonstrating strong time-management skills and the ability to multitask.
- Respond to team email inquiries and adhere to team's agreed upon processes.
- Use Microsoft Office products proficiently.
- Maintain confidentiality and demonstrate decision-making skills, attention to detail, and problem-solving abilities.
- Interact and work effectively with a diverse group of internal and external individuals.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel.
- Experience in a call center customer service role.
- Ability to handle both inbound and outbound calls.
- Strong customer service skills and ability to resolve customer complaints.
- Competency in data entry and order entry tasks.
- Familiarity with email correspondence and ability to respond professionally to customer inquiries.
- Ability to schedule appointments in an organized and efficient manner.
- Proven track record in answering inbound calls promptly and professionally.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a team and contribute to achieving team goals.
- Problem-solving skills and ability to think quickly under pressure.
- Demonstrated ability to manage time effectively and prioritize tasks.
