Job Description : Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) 2PM-10PM

Location : Pleasant Acres Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Hull, IA

Overview : Pleasant Acres Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation Center is proud to be under new management with Campbell Street Senior Living.

We are dedicated to providing top-notch care to our residents and are seeking compassionate and dedicated Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) to join our team.

Job Duties and Responsibilities :

• Assist residents with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and eating.
• Provide basic patient care, including monitoring vital signs and reporting changes to nursing staff.
• Assist with mobility and transportation, ensuring residents are comfortable and safe.
• Help maintain a clean and safe environment for residents, including sanitizing equipment and communal areas.
• Document care provided and maintain accurate patient records as required by facility policies and Iowa regulations.
• Support residents with recreational activities and social engagement.
• Communicate effectively with residents, families, and healthcare team members to ensure quality care.
• Participate in training and professional development as required.

Qualifications :

• Must be a certified nursing assistant in the state of Iowa.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Compassionate and patient-focused approach to care.
• Previous experience in a skilled nursing or rehabilitation facility is a plus.

Physical Requirements :

• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds as needed for patient care and transport.
• Prolonged periods of standing, walking, and bending.
• Ability to assist residents in and out of bed, chairs, and during mobility.
• Capable of performing repetitive tasks and physically demanding duties throughout the shift.
